North United Soccer Academy

U8 - U9 – U10 – U11

PA West Center of Excellence (COE) Academy

General Information Sheet

The Center of Excellence Academy is the first step in process of assisting young soccer players to reach their true potential.  To be eligible for this program, your players must love to play for the fun of the game.  Our COE Academy is for the player who at U7 – U8 was the player that ran up and down the field scoring at will and has a ball at his feet 24/7!!!  This program is designed as a preparatory step for young players toward the PA West Classic League and Olympic Development Program (ODP).

For most players this will be the first exposure to professional training.  Players must be responsive to learning and not disruptive.  Parents must be supportive and assist by encouraging players to practice the new skills.  At the end of each session of 8-10 weeks we will reevaluate the players to see if this program is still in their best interest.

Training Staff:

Our director of Coaching is Jerry Concannon.  Jerry is the proprietor of QuickSkills Soccer, a private player development & training company.  Jerry has been training youth player for over 15 years.  Jerry has his National B license.  Jerry has an excellent rapport with younger players and brings the most out of them in a positive learning environment.  Our trainers are all trained in the Quickskills system of training. .

Training Process Overview:

Over the winter, we hold our indoor sessions on Sunday afternoons in Wexford and an optional Futsal games program.  In the spring and fall, we will be out door in Wexford.  Our summer camps will be held at different times through out the summer through Quickskills so everyone can attend the ones that best fit there summer schedule. They vary from day camps to residential camps.

It is our goal to provide you with an ongoing soccer training experience that will keep your player always wanting more.  While it is not required to attend all session through out the year, the COE Academy program is designed as a long term progressive training environment and not a one time program.  Current players in the program have the first choice to sign up for the next session.

Registration and Session Fees:

Each player must register on-line and pay the full season fee prior to the first session.  All players pay a registration fee once a year starting in the fall at a cost of $35.00. Each 8-10 week session cost is $150.00. Each player must register on-line and pay the full session fee prior to the first session.  No refunds are given except for injuries that will hold a player out for three or more weeks.
